Tender documents are available on http://web1.capetown.gov.za/web1/TenderPortal/Tender or may be collected from 2nd Floor Concourse, Civic Centre, Cape Town during office hours 07:30-15:00. Please note that the URL as stated below must be used in order to register to either download, view or collect tender documents: http://web1.capetown.gov.za/web1/tenderportal/ In order to collect hard copies of tender documents from the City of Cape Town, you will need to be registered on the new tenders portal prior to collecting documents, if not, the desk clerk will need the necessary information, as requested on the registration page on the tenders portal, in order to complete the registration on your company’s behalf. Your attention is drawn to the following when collecting tender documents during Covid-19 Level 3: 1. Please note that the Civic Centre only has two entrance points during alert Level 2: a) Through the escalators on the ground floor; b) On the deck above the escalators leading to the taxi rank; 2. All those visiting the Civic Centre will be screened and have their details recorded prior to being allowed access to the building; 3. Everyone must wear a mask upon entering the building and maintain social distancing as per Covid-19 regulations; 4. All prospective bidders must immediately alert the security officer on duty of their intent to submit/collect a tender document upon arrival at the Civic Centre. A non-refundable fee of R200.00 is required on collection of the tender document by Cash or EFT. This fee is not applicable to website downloads of the tender document.
